The Hon. Chief Justice receives a donation of courtroom equipment, on behalf of the Judiciary

 

The Hon. Chief Justice of the Republic of Zambia, Mrs Irene C. Mambilima has received a donation of court equipment, on behalf of the Judiciary. The Chief Justice received the denotation at a hand-over ceremony held at the  Radisson Blu Hotel in Lusaka. The equipment hand over was officiated by  Ambassador of the European Union, Alessandro Marian and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany – H.E Achim Burkart.  The  Minister of Justice Hon. Mr. Given Lubinda was represented by Mr. Davis Chikalanga

The donation has been made through the ‘Programme for legal Empowerment and Enhanced Justice Delivery’ – PLEED project which has successfully procured court equipment, consisting of stenograph machines, laptops, printers and photocopying machines and software amounting to Kwacha 3, 2 million to be delivered to courts throughout the country.
