Hon. Mrs. Justice Jane Kazoka Kabuka is a Judge of the Supreme Court. She was appointed to the Supreme Court on 22nd March 2016. Justice Kabuka holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. She was admitted to the bar in 1983.
Prior to her current appointment, Justice Kabuka served as Judge-in-Charge of the Ndola High Court from 2013 to 2016. Since joining the High Court in 2006, Justice Kabuka has served at the Ndola High Court from 2006 to 2010. She also served as Judge-in-Charge of the Lusaka High Court General List from 2011 to 2013.
Justice Kabuka served as Legal Officer in the Ministry of Local Government from 1983 to 1984. From 1984 to 1985, she worked as Assistant Advocate, Messrs A.E. Clark & Co. were she practiced in the area of Conveyance, Commercial cases, Civil and Criminal Litigation. From 1985 to 1987 after she served as Assistant Legal Counsel, Legal Services Corporation. Justice Kabuka established the Copperbelt Branch of the Legal Services Corporation at Ndola. In 1993, Justice Kabuka established own her own Private Practice, Messrs. J. Kabuka & Co.
Justice Kabuka is a member of the Zambia Association of Women Judges.
